You used the color around the eyes very nicely. It's hard to do that sometimes with such a large color pallet. I also really enjoy the shade of green you used for the hair. Nice work!

Your work is stunning, I'm always a fan of this kind of rough (but ordered) style of painting =P... I've never tried watercolors, I've only used acrylics and oils... What are watercolors like?

thanks! <3 most people hate watercolors and they often aren't considered a fine art. But they were my first love and the trick is to be extremely careful not to muddle the colors because you only get one shot at it.

Oooh, it doesn't sound like it's the right media for me then... I have a very rough way of doing things... Both with oils and acrylics, as in digital art, I end up working on the same area over and over tweaking it little by little and mixing colors...

But I can see it is a great media for you, I really liked your work =)

Your color palette is really stunning. I'm a sucker for bright colors, despite my rarely using them. lol. Great work and it's nice to see some serious watercolors out there.

The emotion of this is so stunning! It's in her face but also in the stroke you use, big runny lines. I love the colours too, it all gels wonderfully. This belongs in a gallery somewhere with people who have gotees and berets looking at it and pondering the meaning!
