The horse looks so ephemeral the way you allowed it to fade to white and coalesce into bursts of color that seem to move along with the creature - fabulous work! Both visually interesting and mentally interesting (it just begs me to create a story for why it's there).

Wonderfully done!

Cheers!

I've got the brain of a four year old. I'll bet he was glad to be rid of it. :o

<3 glad you liked it ;)

My gods, isn't that absolutely gorgeous? It's simple, yet extraordinarily exquisite. I can see this as a professional design on something...not quite sure what. But amazing nonetheless. You have a talent with watercolor that dumbfounds me.

Wow, this is stunning! I love watercolors ^^ Can I ask how do you make shadows? Do you mix the color with black, or do you use a darker version of the color? (I'm starting to use watercolors, but I'm awful with them xD)

My technique on this was to put a layer of water where I wanted color and then just let the water spread the color on it's own. I never mix with black... actually I don't even own black paint... the darkest color on this was a charcoal blue-gray.

This is ... magical. There's no other adjective that'd suffice. I love the colours and the fact the detail is so minimal, it's almost calculated and painstaking the way you manipulated the paint to represent a little horse. I can't get over it.
