Hi, I really like what your gallery, I write poems and short-stories and I was wondering if you were interested in illustrating one of them. Here's the link [link] but it's in French, if you are interested, let me know and I'll translate it to you as well as I can, okay ?
ok, envious. I've only just reccently began to experiemnet with hiints of lavendars and greens and blues in skin tones, and it's always inspiring to see people who can make a whole PICTURE of it! I especially can't stop loooking at the hair...but I have a hair fixation anyway, so especially pretty hair is even more...fixating.
I also like the variation of textures on the skin. The stippled versus the smooth work. THere's a small area on her upper cheek that bothers me; I myself would have put a ptch of larger gradiant between the blue stippleing and the cheek (like you have along the sides of the nose), as I feel the dots and blobs are just a little heavy around the eyes, but that's just my personal opinion. I don't feel it detracts terribly from the work, especially when it could serve to bring more attention to her already lovely eyes.
